Coping with COVID : Using Movement, Meditation, and Mindfulness with Alexa 6 week group Thursdays, 6:30-7:15pm
Need some extra coping skills for managing the uncertainty of COVID-19? This group is for you. In this group we will share, learn, and practice movement-based coping skills. This group will include meditation, breath work, and gentle movement experiences to help us create, enhance and integrate more moments of calm in our days. Opportunities for education will be provided, though no psychotherapy will occur in this group. This self-reflection will help us to understand our signs, symptoms, and strategies for managing these unprecedented times. Who knows, maybe we can even dance out the stress!
Using Creativity and Meditation to Achieve Your Goals! with Emery Ongoing (commit to 4 weeks at a time) Mondays, 6:30-7:15pm
No art or meditation experience is necessary!!! Set a goal and learn how to use creative tools and meditation to gain clarity, make progress faster, and move yourself towards your goals in an enjoyable way. We will learn how to apply these tools and you will be able to put them into action right away. Everyone is welcome and the group will be fine tuned based on who is in it, so you get plenty of personalized attention.
