Can I Get A Witness (Dumbo Office) with Amina Shaw-Moss Every other Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm
Can I Get A Witness is a group specifically designed for Women Of Color working through trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed, holding the weight of everyday stress on your shoulders? Perhaps you've held onto a secret for so long, that it's now a part of your life's story. Sometimes the sheer act of telling your truth, is the gateway to personal healing. Please join me and other women of color, as we build supportive connections through art therapy and conversation.
Women's Group (Lower East Side Office) with Sharon Itkoff Nacache Every other Monday 6:30-7:30pm
A place for women to come together, create art, and find support with life's challenges. This is a safe space that offers an opportunity for group members to explore materials in a nonjudgmental and open way with the guidance of Sharon, an experienced art therapist. No experience with art making is needed!
Art Sanctuary (Lower East Side Office) with Elizabeth London Thursdays 7:00-8:30pm
An opportunity to find refuge and sanctuary, both inner and outer, in the midst of a high-paced and overwhelming world. Participants will experience calm through the weekly ritual of meeting together in an art studio and also become acquainted with their own senses of inner sanctuaries- places within of presence and deep wells of wisdom, joy, and strength. Through guided meditations and creative exploration, these inner sanctuaries will come into clearer view and participants will feel supported and empowered from within.
Mindfulness and Creativity (Lower East Side Office) with Elizabeth London Fridays 7:00-8:30pm
Mindfulness practices help us come into different relationship with life’s difficulties and pain and to experience a greater sense of peace and wellbeing. Combining these practices with the creative process enables a deeply personal and embodied sense of presence. Through guided meditations, visualizations, creative prompts, group sharing and discussion, participants will explore and deepen their relationship with mindfulness and feel supported as they incorporate their insights into their lives. (No previous experience with mindfulness required)
